Advanced guide to preparing artwork for a 3x3 m event tent

The template file contains marked panels that match the individual parts of the tent structure:

  • A - Roof
  • B - Front wall
  • C - Back wall
  • D - Left side wall
  • E - Right side wall
  1. Prepare the file: open the PDF or AI template and keep the original panel order and dimensions.
  2. Bleeds and cut lines: use 5 cm bleed and keep important text or logos at least 10 cm away from the cut line.
  3. Single-sided print: specify whether the print should be on the outside or inside. If the inside is selected, mirror the artwork horizontally.
  4. Resolution and color: use at least 150 dpi at scale 1:1, preferably 300 dpi, and prepare artwork in CMYK.
  5. Export: save the final file as PDF/X-1a with embedded fonts or outlines. The recommended file naming pattern is Tent3x3_[order-number]_A-E.pdf.
  6. Technical margins: leave extra margin for seams and hook-and-loop fasteners, and avoid placing key visual elements near joins or structural openings.
  7. Final check: verify panel order, orientation, colors, bleeds and safe area before sending the file for production.
  8. Delivery: send the final PDF together with a short note describing the intended use and the chosen print side.
